Controversy over a lip-lock: Vasundhara Raje and Kiran M Shaw

Rajasthan Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Vasundhara Raje Scindia's lip-locking with Biocon's Kiran Mazumdar Shaw has stirred the hornet's nest. The picture was taken at the India Economic Summit 2006. Read the story here.
Is it that objectionable? Rajasthan Congress leaders naturally asks BJP that is this the culture of Rajasthan. We wonder whether the RSS approves it! Kisses and smooches have been controversial in this country.
Shabana Azmi had locked lips with Nelson Mandela a few years back and a lot of hue and cry was raised by section of Muslim clergy. The storm over the kiss may take sometime before it gets over. The local Hindi papers in Rajasthan have also published the story. See the Dainik Bhaskar Jaipur edition's link

Is the tragedy that Shabana Azmi locked lips or that she only locked lips with Nelson Mandela?
This is no lip-lock, just innocent greeting. Media either do not know what lip-lock is or are deliberately distorting /overplaying for nothing more than stunt. And people are taking political advantage of it.
Anything to sell news ...
Total non issue. Write a indepth commentary on Lalloo of how he turned around the Indian Railways and ground Bihar to dust.
I think its an optical illusion.
Rajasthan Chief Minister and senior BJP leader "Vijay Raje Scindia's" I think it is wrong editindia. CM is vasundhra raje.Well factual mistake.
If this is part of her culture no problem.
But if she is lesbian then yeah it would be a problem.
This is like guys kissing. In some cultures it is just a greeting whereas in others ...
But usually we are not talking about kisses on the lips. They usually do mean some kind of romantic relationship.
I have read articles saying how the Namaste greeting is better than the Western handshake greeting because since there is no touch involved it doesn't spread germs.
But wow, just think how easily this greeting must spread germs.
Only idiots will overlook all Kiran shaws' achievments to try and condemn her for a non-conventional, non-harmful form of greeting. The country is filled with freedom depriving socialists, whose only purpose in life is to judge and curb the actions of others.
In western countries hugging, liplocking is very common but in India Kiran madam have to be under culture.but it is already happened thouh also it is not a big issue, media have no even a common sense
