Bullets in Mahajan's body: India TV beats other channels



Pramod Mahajan was in the hospital. His brother Praveen pumped bullets in his stomach from point blank range. But several hours after he was admitted in the hospital and the operation was going on, most of the channels claimed that the bullets had been taken out.
Meanwhile, the correspondents of India TV (Rajat Sharma) remained firm that the bullets were not taken out. The anchor tried to grill the reporter if their reports were correct and latest because other channels claimed otherwise. And it was laudable how the reporter made his point.
A few hours later all other channels had to retract and said that yes the bullets were still in.

The big names like Jitendra Dixit of Star TV and other journos of Ajtak, NDTV India and English channels were exposed--they were just going by the hearsay and had no sources. The Crime Reporters, Saiyadain Zaidi and Wahid Ali Khan of India TV need to be praised for their groundwork and contacts as shown throughout the day in their reporting.

Our entire family had gathered for a house warming, when the news of Pramod Mahajan being shot broke in. One by one, all of us started predicting how the news will be covered (while watching aaj tak). We predicted there would be confusion over the removal of bullets, celebrities crowding the spot would be asked questions even Mahajan's doctor's wouldn't have had answers to,computer graphics used to simulate the incident for the viewers, specialists being brought in the studio to answer stupid questions, and a major confusion over the statements of pravin mahajan. And all of this happened one after the other. It is shameful the way the news is being covered thes days.

No yaar. not a fan. News flashes were on both Ajtak and Star News, which I saw claiming bullets were taken out.

ये तो हमने भी देखा कि रजत शर्मा के चैनल ने ही सही ख़बर दिखाई तभी तो अपना माथा ठनका और भागे अपने स्टूडियो कि बॉस महाजन का मामला तो वाकई सीरियस हो गया है.. वरना बाक़ी चैनलों ने तो ऑपरेशन किए बिना ही गोली निकाल दी थी.. इंडिया टीवी खुलासा ना करता तो बाक़ी चैनल के महानुभाव महाजन साहब का बयान तक सुना देते. सैयदन ज़ैदी और वाहिद को अपन मान गए. मुंबई वालों ने तो काम कर दिखाया अब दिल्ली वाले इंडिया टीवी का देखना बाक़ी है.

My name is Vivek Anand and Iam a 1st year law student at Mumbai University.The other day I was passing by a suburban andheri track where to my shock I saw a man trying to commit suicide on the track. I immediately ran and rushed to save him.Thankfully I reached in time and saved his life. When asked why he was taken such a drastic step to end his like he seemed reluctant to answer. When I persisted he finally cried and told me that he had spent his entire hard-earned money and had taken loan from bank only to send his son to study medicine (MBBS) to China. He was assured that it was a good university where English was the medium of the course. But to his shock it turned out to be a non-recognized university by the Medical Council of India and it lacked professors & other infrastructure required for the course. As he paid the entire 5 year amount now his son doesn’t have any option and his career is finished. Though I sympathized with him but I couldn’t find any way to help him out.
I sincerely urge your channel to do research regarding this matter of the study of medicine in china and people being duped by educational consultants in India.
I feel as an Indian citizen and a moral and responsible channel we should highlight this matter through visual media so that hundreds of parents wanting their wards to pursue higher education in foreign countries escape being duped by such institutions and do not end up ending their lives.

I hope you would sincerely go through this matter and help the people of India.

hi!i m sachin gill from delhi.i want popleto know what pblm my sister and my parents faced in bhu,varanasi.she cleared BHU entrance securing all india rank14 .but she couldn,t get admission as du result was not yet declared and she was unable to produce final year result.even student with lower rank get preference over her and got admission.and also they prefered bhu students even thouh it was centralised exam.now she has applied for paid seat.let,s hope after that she can get admission .this has lead to financial burden upon my parents.so wht should i and parents do now..can somebdy help us

Pune popular as the oxford of the east and pensioners paradise has quietly metamorphosed into a haven of crimes and defective property dealings and litigations created by the over ambitious landgrabbers and developers .all this has happened at the expense of the simple educated professional middle class investor (about 20% puneites in their late forties who invested 15-20 years back) who parked the sweat of his brow into plots and became a victim of the scheme of things .DON’T FORGET TO READ INDIA TODAY last year which clearly brought out how the regular meetings among bureausrats politicians and builders take place at definite intervals of time to fix (bloat)the new property prices in the market and manipulate the psyche of the common man and swindle him.
The process used by the manipulators is simple, they approach , advertise sell fanciful plots , farmhouse away from developed areas or city (called gaothan) which they promise shall be allotted after all the land in the acreage /survey gets sold out , they cleverly exploit the people’s lethargy and nightmares regarding the revenue department and government departments , glibly assuring people of their honest services .they go to lengths of arranging for vans and buses to the venue like the mlm’s(probably they are better) and collecting a huge crowd of their manpower feigning buying and selling in order to create the impulsive buying rage, and now they have the most potent , flashy , glamourous web and internet service to actually bait the actual moneybags called the software professionals and NRI”s.
Little do the dude of buyers realize the bait and the trap they are going to be shortly in .and due to the social influences and the family feuds which still prevail in our families tand societies these monkeys (read middlemen and sellers and few members )slip away the cheese , butter , bread , everything right from under the nose of an experienced and inexperienced plot holder all by demoralizing , faking that the land has gone into litigation , somebody else is grabbing it , the guy is a huge influential builder or politician who can armtwist the law , the bureaucrats and judiciary can simply do nothing about it as all of them can be bribed , and last but not the least give unsolicited financial advice that “we should thank god for small mercies that we are at least getting our money back”, and still the last trick they use is advising how to save our lives leaving and forgetting the dreamplot behind .
By the time the dreams of the buyers are turned to ashes on the basis of foul and pressure tactics all the youth who once travelled with dreams in their eyes in the same van have already got lost due to egoistic oversmartness , in the big populous world(aka kumbh mela of the hindi films), and gullibility towards the pied piper of the developer who has led them to the sea.some have incomplete documents and some have spent their whole lives bickering and squabbling at offices or at home , or have at least been a victim of it SOTHEY NEVER HAD TIME TO STUDY OR KNOW LAW or know about the ins and outs of whatever they planned for their lives .this is the reason why these people make hay while the sun shines (targeting those who are young aspiring and willing to buy dreams)
Well,so whom should one rely and depend on for financial advice ?just as brokers , police , bureaucrats builders , and rustic folk posing as agents all are hand in glove in this operation , financial advisors possibly could be a part of them, and why not every body wants tomake quick and easy money in the world of lazy fools(like me )and those who would like to swear in the name of god and blame him for the game(looks like god is in favour of the miscreants , cheats and terrorist these days materialists beware!!)
So I personally think that CAUTION AND GANDHIANISM is the solution to such woes(Gandhi was a lawyer as well don’t forget ). Caution means know the law in your favour e.g
1.did you get 7x12 extract report in your name (which is a legal proof of your owner ship)
2.keep getting the 7x12 extract every 6 months the procedure is simple , if you go to tahsildar office and pay govt fees you get it within an hour.
3. keep visiting your property and build at least a smallroom there and register it at grampanchayat office and pay the grampanchayat taxes time to time(even if the developer himself makes fun of you) as these are very low.(it grants you more security than any bureaucrat , lawyer or police). Keep showing some agricultural produce etc .if it’s a big holding and keep paying something called as SHETSAARA ( negligible amount as taxes for agri lands). Also get a form called 8A from these sources.
4.there have been developers and societies where either the developer never demarcate the plots procrastinating things deliberately or the secretaries and chairman , treasurers have gone utterly corrupt by getting hand in glove with the builders and betraying society members.(so note the regd and unregistered society is equally unsafe if you don’t construct immediately , its like a grown up youthful daughter/ son not taught values from childhood who can be kidnapped (weaned from loyalty legally).THEY EVEN KEEP THE COMMON ROADS IN THEIR NAME AND AFTER A COUPLE OF YEARS APPROACH THE BUILDERS AND SELL IT AS OPEN PLOTS PERPETERATING LITIGATION AND DISPUTES BATWEEN THE COMMONERS AND THE BUILDERS WHO CAN USE PRESSURE TACTICS AND ARM TWIST THE LAW , so though on one end they write in the registered agreements that you will be given access roads to your property , they slyly gobble it using the divide and rule policy among the members or their non familiarity with other plot holders “these miscreants take utmost care that the buyers never know one another” they have to do all this brain games to make crores out of nothing .And what doyou think the system of police , collectors , tahsildars, talatis , circle officers , the revenue and property registration depts. and the grampanchayats and corporation and local politicians , (even clerks and peons )which is supposed to look after the peace law and order DO???be a mute spectator and support all such issues saying they don’t have powers and pass the information to potential clients and make a killing in between or wait for their share!!!:)
5. the next important thing to be done is have the index 2 copy in your name .then there is a receipt you get from the registrars office when you register the agreement , and a Xerox copy of the agreement used to be available earlier .whatever the case may be apply , produce your receipts and get your ORIGINAL DOCUMENT as soon as possible even if you have to intermittently pursue for 2 years. Obviously if you don’t chase your dream somebody is going to chase it by greasing the palms of somebody else, and you should be prepared to listen “GO AND FIND EVEN THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS AND RECORDS ARE NOWHERE IN THE GOVT DEPTS “the grabbers ate it all (remember the chaara ghotala , here the original papers have been chewed by these cows).and mind you all this is done by the people who are not even graduates using their local connections , pressure tactics flaunting swanky cars and estates .
6.ideally from the tahsildar office apply and get a document called FAERFAAR which indicates you the transaction number and name an history of how the land got handed down .its actually great to know the status of the land such as clear marketable title or disputed or gifted (and can’t be sold) etc through this document and a DOCUMENT CALLED THE SEARCH REPORTbefore getting into such a deal itself and getting all their owners , progeny and relatives who could have legal rights and claim or pray for the annulment of contract or monetary compensation by legacy.
7. get a gunthewari done by approaching collector office and town planning offices , don’t get intimidated that these will be winding procedures cause at least forewarned is forearmed, your dreams will at least not be shattered when you are old and swindled and can do nothing about it. And the clever manipulator has bought villages and villages ahead with your hard earned money whereas your fears and inertias and lethargies and gullibilities make you believethat managing 3 and 5 gunthas is a huge pain. (note who dares wins!! And who believes in IMPOSSIBLE loses all to the uneducated trickster who believes everything is easily possible with the educated )some localites and builders behave and pose as if knowing laws and documents on lands and properties is only their DOMAIN, never get swayed.
8.know your neighbor love him, her, stand united but don’t trust blindly , grow means develop your property fast stay together give and get security from each other at your dream bungalows (then you don’t have to stake yourself and aspire at kaun banega crorepati you will be one )and organized criminals wont make you a road pati.
9. for registered societies and societies of flats who are being taken on ajoy ride by their gr8 secretaries , chairman and treasurers do know thy savior called the DDR registrar of co operative societies to whom you can address your problems .LOKSHAHI DIN the first Monday of everymonth is a powerful weapon when you can approach any class one officer bureaucrat with your complaint for which you get a receipt which has a legal standing and the complaint cannot be hashed up.(thank you anna hazare), another powerful weapon is the RTI right to information act or mahiti adhikar as it is popularly known (few pages explaining the law and the formats of applications are given in a brochure which is available at any govt press (in pune photo zinco press) you just have to apply for the information desired by pasting a 10re court fee stamp on it an yo!!the information should be yours on payment of govt charges /or free if the information officer fails to give within a month .the fone no of RTI free help is 080-66600-999/9422530503.else there is a punitive fine for the info officer, so it’s a win win for the commoner.
10. last but not the least for those who are lazy and scared and think are too wise to remain divided and love it AND TOO NARCISSTIC ABOUT THEIR FINANCIAL skills and optimistic about their luck there is fastfood at big price called FLATS wherein you gain much much less and in future are going to gain still less .Though one may believe in the fast growing Indian population and their consumerism and dismiss this pessimism yet one cannot ignore the facts of SATURATION and AMBITION FATIGUE.possibly people would like to enjoy their money live in simplicity ”contented with one home” and not be GAME also . BUT TILL THE TIME people opt for the gandhian simplicity of contentment and sanity , there are businessmen and leaders making rules and schemes and inflation to burn bigger holes in the APPARENTLY BIG pockets and statistics publicized by educated ambitious who believe in being a cut above by merely burning themselves up in the rat race.The developed nations cringed several decades ago that A MAN IS BORN TO PAY TAXES we are on the same road in the name of development and due to lack of leverage / accountability / organization in our country and burgeoning population (more mess) we are victims of many dream schemes too.
