VP Singh went abroad for treatment. All politicians go outside India or cal foreign doctors and the best Indian docs when they are sick. But why all these politicians who advocate quota in medical and engineering and every other stream, fall ill, they demand that the best doctors should treat them.
Across the political spectrum all parties and their leaders have used quotas for their own ends at one time or the other and keep supporting it. They fly abroad and go for docs who come up ON MERIT. Why no body, no channel asks them why they don't let mediocre docs and docs of SC/ST/OBC quota come to treat them. I am certainly not too much against this quota system as it probably helps many people to an extent. Though there are many angles we all know.
But the shrill voice of all parties that are in favour of reservation on the basis of caste really pisses me off. If they feel so strongly about it then should face it. Why they don't apply all this to themselves. Shouldn't the Barkhas, Rajdeeps, Dibangs ask these harsh questions to these leaders?
