Ajtak: Such misinformation and blunders!

Do you expect 'national' news channels especially the one like Aajtak that claim to be the Numero Uno in this country to be so careless about facts and make a mockery of all basics of journalism.

The leader of the most wanted dacoit gang in India Dayaram was injured in an encounter with police in Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh and I happened to see the special programme 'Aaj Tak Vishesh' that was focused on this gang.

In the 'exclusive' report it was again and again mentioned that Dayaram Gadaria had killed SAIKDON (HUNDREDS) of innocents in his years in Chambal. The fact is that the entire Gadaria gang has no less than 30 murders in its CV to boast of.

Of which, a majority including the 13 victims of Bhanwarpura massacre was at the behest of the second leader Rambabu. Even if the figure of 30 is attributed to Dayaram, the use of word 'HUNDREDS' suggests at least 200 or 300. So TEN TIMES the figure was blown up! How can they dare to air such wild figures? Frankly it is because they don't give a damn to accountability or facts.

It is no newspaper and so you are not bound to publish rejoinders (in newspaper offices, readers and officials of department concerned come with the cutting and demand explanation). Also, the channels don't have the beat system in the exact sense and thus guy in Gwalior may be just a low-paid stringer who has to look after politics, art, culture, crime, society and what not. Naturally he is too busy to specialise on any thing and picks up hearsay. Where in the world will we get such imbalanced coverage and so many bloomers except India!

    Please help..................

Are the channels supposed to sting operations on corruption, frauds and ransom only. Will any one take care of thousands of people working in private sector banks, the banks not only open the thousands of accounts in fictious name for IPOs, they are more than that the most cruel and undemocratic and inhuman organisations.

The working conditions of the employees in these organisations are horrible as the employees work for unlimited hours without even weeekend break, on grounds of mission of organization. But the mission was never a part of the contract while hiring the employee.

Yes, the private banks are very obedient in following Mr.Finance Minister saying that banks should work from 8 to 8. In government offices people can claim for eight hours long shifts but oh god where we poor employees of private sector bank can go. They make employees work till late in night as they know there is no law of land can be applied on the organisation as no employee will complain because the poor fellow will be sacked if raises the voice of discontent.

The mails of the Organisation Heads commit compensatory offs for attendig office on any gazetted holiday But the mobile calls and SMs dictate no off for employees failing to achieve the so called sales targets. The employees were made to attend the office on Diwali and Balmiki Jayanti. The poor sufferers are not sales persons who love to sale even moon to buyers, but the people who have opted for the desk jobs in the organisations as per their bent of mind. They are made to go for sales or give resignations on the ground of so called non performance. They serve the customers all day by doing routine banking during the working hours ( the job for which they have joined the organisatio and getting compensation comparable to that work only) by the time they try to go home the head office ask them to give their sales figures and otherwise sit in the office till the time they do sales. The work place has become hell for employees. The employees are mentally tortured and harassed but there is no one listening....

    Please help ......
