Express does story against News Channels' hooliganism & indecency in 'Patna Professor Prem ki Pathshaala case'

It was nice to see Indian Express doing a story on how a Professor's (Matuknath Chaudhary who teaches Hindi) humiliation was turned into a national news story-cum-live soap opera for the audience of television channels.

JP Yadav did the story from Patna. He spoke to district SP who said, 'what I can do when a sea of cameramen barge into Police station". He termed it as media hooliganism. The correspondent also spoke to Ajtak's Senior Special Correspondent who obviously defended that it was a 'story' that was important and had social message.

It was needed for a newspaper to do such a story. Channels can't breach the line and intrude in lives of people. Lately the cameramen have been forcing people to speak and misbehaving. Even if the persons does not respond or resists the manhandling, the cameramen claim 'media se dur-vyavhar kiya gaya'. This can't go on for long. But the important thing is that print media is writing about it. We can't allow it just because they are also media.

  1. well, the manner in which prabal pratap singh behaved he should have been given the pink slip. He proved to be an idiot, who had no answer to the intellect and natural flair of the love-birds. You can not force your views on people, you dont have to prove them wrong. Its for viewrs to decide, why are you feeling screwed. It seemed as if the prof had screwed, prabals sister or whatever.
