et tu Arnab: TV Anchors as Preachers

Arnab Goswami has also been bitten by the preaching bug. Talking to the lawyer of Abu Salem, Goswami suddenly turned into a preacher.

'Think for a while, as an Indian, keep your hand on your heart & say....just for a brief moment, take off your lawyer's hat...and as an Indian...is it in the interest of the nation if a person 'responsible' for terror campaigns against India should...etc etc...'

The emotional blackmail appeared straight from a soap opera. He and his co-anchor were on the verge of threatening Harjot Singh, the lawyer. Arnab, you seem to be watching lot of the loud anchors at Jan Mat.

The poor lawyer was doing his duty as per the constitution of this country. You can say these things subtly and expose everybody but you need not be so truculent and disrespectful to everybody.

AN APPEAL TO ARNAB GOSWAMI OF TIMESNOW.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I cannot miss the Times Now 9 PM debate anchored by Arnab Goswami. But,the quality of debate has degenerated,of late. The selection of panel is like a riddle inside an enigma wrapped in mystery.

Certain panellists specially those representing the Congress do not seem to be qualified .They digress from the motion and add to bitterness. The language used is highly intemperate, uncivil . Arnab must filter these "intellectuals" as it impacts the News Hour's credibility.

The slanging between Subramaniam Swamy and someone called Sanjay Jha,was disgusting. The latter brought disgrace to the Congress by his brutal sycophancy. And, why has Abhishek Manu Singhvi been brought back after featuring in a video clipping containing porn stuff? Is the Congress devoid of sober spokespersons ?

Whatever may be the compulsions,The Times Now TV must choose its panellists after careful filtering. The present Tom,Dick and Harry approach to fill the slot will be disatrous. Why stuff the debates with politicians alone? Let us have more retired civil servants, Professors, Lawyers and other persons of eminence to NH debates.

And, let there be fewer interruptions by the ALL TIME GREAT: ARNAB GOSWAMI.
