Every news channel is obsessed with the aviation sector. Even the minor developments in the industry and the routine news items are covered extensively and presented as Breaking Stories. All at the cost of other genuine stories.
It seems everybody is travelling on air. The NDTV and CNN-IBN are even more obsessed. The moment you tune in these channels, you find that the strike by aviation employees is covered. Of course, the upper middle class and middle class is travelling more on air. But what about rail, bus and the other issues? But that is bound to happen, I guess, as the bosses in these channels hardly board a train.
