Rajat Sharma's India TV is now making its presence felt. No longer just for titillating clips of politicians having sex with women, but for serious journalism.
The reports of torture in custody including that of a man whose testes were singed by Mumbai police and the teenager who was hung by a tree in Gaya and beaten up for eloping with a girl have been astonishing.
Apart from this the quality of questions asked by its anchors is much better than Ajtak, Zee, Sahara and even Star. Only NDTV is ahead on this count.
