Utterly Unwatchable: Star News and Aaj Tak

See how 'Ravana flew the Pushpak Vimaan', that was the alert appearing on Star News, from evening.

Aajtak kept focusing on movies and promised 'Fight of Big Stars on Small Screen' on the national news network. So where was the news?

After the capsules on crime, cinema, horror, mythology and nonsense trivia, the space left is gobbled up by promotional ads (about serials on Start One) and of course advertisements.

For hardcore news freaks, the alternative: Watch Samay and see ex-Aajtak guy Punya Prasun Bajpai, rubbing his palms, and commenting on the disparities in India. At least, they (Sahara Samay) show the news.

Starnews has all Nonsense News.

- It states that PUSHPAK was designed by Ravans engineer.

(Wow....Hael Starnews - To find out Aeronotic engineers existed during Ramayan. Very soon They will find out how Humanbeing flew during that era and How Hoanuman Lifted the Mountain.)

- Very Soon Starnews is going to overtake Title of "KING OF STUPID JOURNALISM" from INDIATV.

both aaj tak and star news are a growing brand of hindi news channels without ethics and respect to users. One of the greatest irony of these channels is higlighted during the cricket matches.they show anything from the the selection to pitch report to toss as breaking news, also they have many experts who just babble out rhetorics. Also one thing that amuses me is that although cricket match is the watched by everyone they will still show the results of the match as breaking news and then continue celebrating it for hours.

YES anonymous u r right. The hindi news channels are very cruel and cunning like vultures. They are ready for both outcomes of a match (win or loss).if the team wins they will keep on congratulating ,take live viewer calla, bring in second rate singers to sing, show a bunch of fake crowd in all cities in india and declare " india jashan mana raha hai" .on the flipside if india loses they are ready for it too, they are ready with socalled angry cicket experts ,again fake crowds (this time shouting angrily) and so-on.So you see it is a win-win situation for these news channels. And this reaction goes on for every single match

Ya its true that "AAJ-TAK" has become "Sabse Tez" but in giving non-sense news. On 31st March 2008, when nation was worried about inflation and our Finance Minister was delivering important statement regarding same, this news channel was the only one to show a stupid program on Rakhi Sawant. See the sensitivity of these guys !!

Actually they dont care about values and just try to grab something and present it in the manner they want. Well Aaj-Tak is best channel but as an entertaining channel (completing with V/M TV, zoom tv) !!

Honorable Chairperson - CEO
Of Your respected NEWS Channels & NEWS Papers
& CC to
PRESIDENT - GOVERMENT OF INDIA ; Parliament of India ;

After visiting these two sites
http://brhmaandpujan-news-reviews.tripod.com
http://brhmaandpujanbook.tripod.com

Pls justify & decide acts of some news channels who are not only religiously but rigorously & consistently promoting / spreading news (tactfully) of superstitions & myths on their news channels &s news papers.
Meanwhile, my friendly suggestions are why don’t some of these wise responsible news channels convert themselves into private channels like Aasta, Sadhana, Sanskar and so on. Some respected newspapers also had reduced their news to Manohar Kahanias, Satya Kathas , Chanda Mama magazines .

So, Don’t your ‘Honorable Selves’ agree that- now it’s a high time to come forward and curb upon such media promoters by making a strict law –that no news channels or news agency should promote illusive / assumptive superstitions & myths to gain/compete trp or profits out by selling ‘religious uncertified / self certified professionalists’ quacks through their papers or platforms. (exhibiting selling their astrology, numerology, tarot cards, fengshui, vaastu etc ) . Whereas such acts are misguiding innocent & ignorant seekers of GOD who absolutely relay / dream / shape their past, present, future accordingly on such baseless reporting agencies.

However, the concerned common mass like me feel insecure, helpless & cheated when we find even ‘wise matured brilliant media-journalists’ who otherwise today has much important role ahead to report but are all lost in their favorite religious world competing with each other by promoting myths & superstitions while acting as street smart charmer ‘maddari’. Such irresponsible journalist or some particular channels are loosing their creditability as such are seriously gearing up by re-gaining, re-convincing, re-developing, re-propagating children tales out of lost horrors or heritages of our divided religions.
If you are also concerned like me, please look into this matter as such is weakening India and not awakening or updating still.

& as a small common citizen of India, I bow & beg to ‘You All’ to do justice to our upcoming country who is now growing with far better projects & goals than again retaining myths & superstitions of lost unknown past.
Absolutely Yours’ well wisher,
Naresh Sonee
