People are angry with you when all national channels show live the event from Betul where a man has predicted his own death and waste precious hours on this nonsense. They are angry when Amitabh Bachchan's sickness is turned into a unique spectacle or when IG Panda who has shunned his job and wife to embrance Krishna is shown again and again.
But they are so happy and congratulate you when AjTak exposed the MPs for accepting bribes for asking questions in the House or when Ghoos Mahal is aired. That's what I tell them that it is the beginning and in a couple of years from now the electronic channels would evolve steadily as responsible media in the next couple of years.
Today I woke up to the flahses of 'Bomb in Parliament'. It seems Parliament will be in the news this session. Only recently Somnath Chatterjee had exhorted media to cover parliament proceedings extensively. Surely he would not be complaining after the Operation Duryodhan.
